Privacy Policy

Pocket of Sunshine stores only what you deliberately ask it to keep, along with your account details and basic preferences.

Anything Pocket remembers is visible to you inside Pocket Knows. You can edit or permanently delete individual memories, a whole category, or everything at once.

Some responses in Pocket of Sunshine are generated by AI. These include Sunshine, Curious answers, Look Closer responses, and Sparks. AI can sometimes make mistakes, so important information should be checked where appropriate.

For Child profiles, Pocket of Sunshine keeps concise records of meaningful exploration so Parent Review can be created for the parent or account holder. This may include the topic of a Sunshine, a Curious question, a short summary of what was discovered, a selected Spark, a Look Closer subject, and the time the exploration happened. It does not include raw Look Closer photos, full copies of every answer, source URLs, or hidden safety information.

Parent Review is a warm reflection of what a child explored. It is not a score, assessment, or behavioural profile. Pocket of Sunshine does not rank curiosity, score intelligence or ability, or create developmental labels.

Look Closer uses the device camera. It is off by default for Child profiles and requires a parent to enable it. Look Closer photos are used to create the exploration; they are not used as Parent Review activity summaries.

Sources and external links are handled differently by age. For younger child profiles, sources are not shown and external links are not available. For older child profiles, sources are off by default and a parent may choose whether to show them. External links remain separately controlled. Adults have normal source access.

Each Child profile has its own Pocket. One child's saved memories, curiosity history, and exploration are separate from another child's. Adult Pocket content remains separate from Child profile content.

We do not sell your information. We do not score, rank, or create hidden behavioural assessments about you.

You can delete individual memories, a whole category, or everything at once from the Privacy & Memory area. Deleting a Child profile removes it from the switcher and hides its history; it can be recovered later. You can permanently delete your Pocket of Sunshine account and the data connected to it from your Profile.

If you delete your memories, they are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
